The Founder
Most people who know me through basketball have known me with a camera in my hand. But long before I ever walked into a gym, I had already spent more than two decades working closely with people... listening to their stories, witnessing change, and learning how much it matters to feel seen.
Six years ago, my son Dre and a few of his teammates asked if I could take pictures of them at one of their basketball tournaments. I had an old camera that wasn’t even mine, and when I showed up, I realized almost no one was photographing the kids who weren’t on the top teams. I remember thinking... their experience deserved to be preserved too.
What started as something I was doing for my son and his teammates became years of documenting young athletes and creating experiences that helped them see themselves differently.
I thought I was creating experiences for athletes. What those experiences really gave me was access to theirs.

Created specifically for the young athlete, The Media Day Experience gives teams a day to come together, step into the spotlight, and be represented with the same level of excellence they bring to their sport.
